Monica Mize brings more than three decades of experience to TBG, and it shows in every interaction. With a background in drafting, estimating, and project management, she knows homes from the inside out—but what drives her most is the people inside them. As Warranty Superintendent, she’s often the one showing up when something’s gone wrong, and she’s built a reputation for handling tough conversations with patience, honesty, and a genuine desire to help.

She loves the moment a house becomes a home—whether it’s during a final walkthrough or when she resolves an issue and leaves a homeowner feeling confident and cared for. Her advice? Do your research, know your non-negotiables, and remember: be realistic. Her favorite space is the living room, where memories are made, TV game shows are debated, and coffee table dinners are a family tradition.

Known for being driven, detail-oriented, and hardworking, Monica is also a big softie—something that shows in the extra time and care she puts into every interaction. And while she may be “off the clock” on paper, she’s usually busy running her woodworking and craft business, painting rooms just because she can, or on the beach with a good book. She’s a loyal dog person (with an unexpected love for snakes), and always has a Coke and salted peanuts in her truck. If someone needs help, Monica’s already halfway there.
