Blair DeShong has been a key part of TBG’s build process for over four years, bringing hands-on experience and a sharp eye for detail to the purchasing team. Before joining TBG, he worked in roadway construction as an Office and Field Engineer—and long before that, spent summers helping his father paint homes. Construction has always been in his blood.

At TBG, Blair enjoys watching 2D plans evolve into homes people love. His favorite stage of the process is drywall, when the layout truly comes to life and the finishing details begin to take shape. His advice to first-time builders? Trust the process. It may be overwhelming at times, but it’s always worth it in the end. His favorite space in a home is an open-concept kitchen and living room—where meals are made, games are watched, and life happens.

Known for always answering his phone and stepping in when needed, Blair describes his work ethic in three words: Dedicated, Diligent, Reliable. Outside of work, he’s a family guy who bowls, plays softball, and stays fueled with anything caffeinated. He may say he’s too old for party tricks, but managing four dogs and a full calendar says otherwise.
