Yes. We ask that you own the property before we start building, however that does not stop our team from going through the design process while you close on your property.

Yes! We have several available now. We have homes available in North Alabama as well as Central Alabama.

We primarily build in Central Alabama and North Alabama but reach out to see if your lot is within our service area.

Timelines vary depending on lot prep and design choices but typically range from 6–8 months once construction begins. If we can get you in before then, we will try to move the closing date up!

Absolutely! We currently have two beautifully furnished model homes located in Athens—one in Watercress Preserve and another in The Links at Southern Gayles near the golf course. 

Price per square foot can vary depending on location, community, and the selections you choose. For example, the same floor plan may be priced differently across our communities due to lot size, included features, and available upgrades. Because of these variables, we don’t provide a universal price per square foot—but we’d love to learn more about what you’re looking for and guide you to the best options within your budget.

We offer two distinct build paths:

• Signature Series: Thoughtfully designed plans with proven layouts, created for efficiency, speed, and value. Modifications are limited to available structural and design options.
  
• Premium Design Track: Offers more flexibility with customizations, allowing you to modify an existing plan or bring your own. This path is perfect if you’re looking for a personalized home and are comfortable with a longer timeline and additional cost.

Yes! We can build from your plan, customize one of ours, or work together to design a new one that fits your land and lifestyle.

Construction timelines vary based on the specific community, lot availability, and the permitting process. Once we know the plan and location you’re interested in, we can provide a more accurate start date.

If construction hasn’t progressed too far, yes! Depending on what stage the home is in, you may be able to select finishes or make upgrades. If you’re building from the ground up, you’ll have a full design appointment to choose everything from flooring to countertops.

Yes, you’ll work with our in-house design team at our design studio to make all your selections, from cabinets and flooring to lighting and tile.

Definitely! We not only have a team member dedicated to you every step of the build process, but we also have an amazing client portal that allows you to track the schedule and see weekly pictures. Not to mention, anytime you have a question, you can write it on that software, and it is sent to every single member on the team.

Yes! We schedule three key walkthroughs:

1. Electrical walkthrough
   
2. Cabinet walkthrough
   
3. Final “punch walk” – where you help identify anything needing adjustment before move-in

Building a home is one of the most exciting times, and we know you are anxiously anticipating construction to start! We strive to break ground typically within 30 days of the finalization of:

• Selections
• Plans
• Signed contract

We have been in business since 2001, and we have formed relationships with particular subcontractors built on trust, reliability, and quality. While you can use your own vendor, we highly recommend using our trusted subcontractors to ensure a superior home building experience.

Most customers are the happiest with their first selections. However, we are aware everyone gets new ideas. If you need to change a selection, we will walk you through our change order process.

Yes! We’re currently offering a 2-1 rate buydown, with rates starting as low as 4.25% for the first year. Here’s how it works:

• Year 1: 4.25%
  
• Year 2: 5.25%
• Years 3–30: 6.25%

We are also offering a fixed interest rate starting at 4.99% on select homes.

Yes, we have trusted preferred lenders we’ve partnered with to help make the financing process smooth and convenient.

Yes! Though using our preferred lenders can sometimes offer added perks.

For Build on Your Lot projects, homeowners are responsible for securing their own financing. This is usually done through a construction loan with your preferred lender or through cash financing with draws issued during the build. We’ll provide your lender with the necessary documents and a draw schedule, and we’ll work directly with them to keep everything moving smoothly.

Many of our communities feature great amenities like pools, walking trails, green spaces, dog parks, and even nearby golf courses. We include GE Profile stainless steel appliances: a range, dishwasher, and microwave. Other appliances or upgrades may be available depending on the community or home.

Yes! If you have a plan you love, our Premium Design Track allows us to work from your inspiration and bring it to life with our expert team.

Yes. Every home includes a comprehensive one-year builder warranty. Our dedicated warranty team is here to support you after move-in to ensure any issues are resolved quickly and thoroughly.

We care about effective communication, which is why we communicate to our customers through Co-Construct. In order to submit a warranty request:

• Please login to Co-Construct by selecting the Client Login tab under the Contact Us tab on our website
• Once logged in, simply select the Warranty tab
• Enter in each warranty request separately, selecting “Add” following each request
• We recommend adding pictures to ensure accuracy when diagnosing the warranty request
• Our Warranty Coordinator will reach out to schedule your 30-day and 1-year warranty
